$32.00

This rare post-prohibition era art glass liquor decanter is a striking addition to the top shelf of your at home speakeasy. With a handsome hexagonal design and circular pressed glass motif, it is sure to catch light and attention. Note: this listing is for one Antique Bourbon brand bottle only; other pictured items are sold separately.

• dimensions: approximately 9.5”h x 3.5”w (widest part of base)

• color: clear

• tags: original Antique Bourbon label, Frankfort Distilling Co., Louisville, Kentucky | original Wisconsin liquor sales sticker

• history: glass bottles embossed with the phrase “Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of this Bottle” were typically made between 1935 and 1964 … this labeling was required by the U. S. government after prohibition | this bottle may have been from the 1930’s as Frankfort Distilling was out of Frankfort, Kentucky but the Louisville warehouse sold “medicinal spirits” during prohibition | this is what my bit of research tells me but as there’s no date on the bottle, I am not sure!

• excellent condition for its age | no chips or cracks

√ rare find that supports sustainable living and decor
